New Look…

Thanks to the World of Warcraft Fan Site Kit, and my photoshop skills, I’ve completed the site’s new header. I’ve also modified the layout of the site a little in order to make the site look less busy while still allowing visitors to easily view all pages.

I Don’t Need No Education…

I don’t need no thought control…
Apologies for the silence on the site, I’ve been on training for most of the past 10 days and now I’m finally done! I’ve written all my tests (and am hoping that I pass them all…) and I’m slowly getting back into the boring cycle of normal everyday life.
I hope to dish out a few pages of content over the next week (Chapter 3 of the X-Syndicate and Chapter 1 of the Soulhers). I also have to update some of the site plugins as well as WordPress, and I want to add Creative Commons Licensing to protect the works being published by users on this site.
I’ll also be adding a new Forum for Website Technical Issues, so if you find an error on the site, feel free to post your comments in that section and I should be able to fix it up.

Update…
Major updates (update of Simple:Press Forum and WordPress) are complete and everything seems to be working properly. There should no longer be any website interruptions.
New Folaji.com Forums

I’m glad to announce that I’ve completed installing the Simple:Press Forum plugin (created by the wonderful people at Yellow Swordfish) and its now ready for everybody to use!
If you are a registered Folaji.com user and are logged in, you can access the forums by using the link on the top right of the page. Otherwise, you will need to use the following link (until I complete the new header):
Note that anybody can read forum posts, but only Registered Members can post new topics (or respond to existing topics).
Here are some of the perks of having a Forum on the site:
- New Profile page with Bio, Signature and Avatar functionality
- New Personal Message (PM) Feature that allows a user to message another user on Folaji.com
- New Forum statistics that show who’s online and top posters
Website Improvements

So I figured I’d detail a couple of the changes that are coming to the website over the next couple of months.
New Website Header
The current header (that big red block at the top of this page) is the Word Press default, and I want to change it. Now I’m not the best artist out there, so if anybody wants to volunteer to create a new header that would be great! Otherwise, it’ll probably end up being a couple of stick figures or something… 
Website Forum
I enjoy publishing my adventures in novel format. Sometimes, however, situations arise where something non novel-like needs to be posted to keep track of the adventure (especially for War of the Soulhers). So I figure the best solution to this is the addition of a discussion forum that is compatible with Word Press.

Working on the site…

I’m working on the site this weekend (which is pretty much the equivalent of me taking a WordPress crash course) so expect to see stuff move around and to find pages that don’t work properly cause I’m still learnding.
