Neverwinter Nights VS Neverwinter Nights 2
Jan 20th
Fyrewind suggested last Sunday that I take a look at Neverwinter Nights, a game where I could create a campaign based on the Soulhers adventure. I’ve since downloaded the demo and am very interested at what this game can allow me to do. The only issue I have is, do I get the first game or its sequel?
The sequel has better graphics and uses the 3.5 rules set, but my understanding is that there are still many people playing the original game. So, which is best? and Why?
There is no /rape in World of Warcraft
Jan 19th
Seeing as how everyone in our DnD group has now seen the “Tom et ses chums” videos, I think its only fair to post them on the site.
Tom et ses chums – Part 1
Tom et ses chums – Part 2
In retrospect, the video pretty much demonstrates the advantage tabletop RPG games have over computer based RPG games: storyline flexibility. As Grob told me earlier tonight, you can’t rape someone in games like World of Warcraft, Fallout 3 and Oblivion, yet in Dungeons & Dragons, anything is possible!
DnD Today
Jan 18th
A quick note that there will be DnD today, and you can show up around the usual time. I spoke to Grob and Tessy yesterday, and they said they’ll be here around 7h30pm, although if some of you want to arrive sooner and go through Alisttair(aka Dugar (aka Pierre))’s Martial Power book, you are free to do so.
See you later on today!
Name That Land
Jan 15th
Simply put, the world in which War of the Soulhers takes place needs a name. Just like Lord of the Rings takes place in Middle Earth and the Warcraft saga takes place in Azeroth, the name needs to be all encompassing, with a mystical sound.
I’ve been trying to come up with a name for some time now, yet I just can’t find anything good. So I’m asking you guys to give your suggestions, which you can post in the forum discussion linked below.
So… Any ideas?
